Terms
Last updated: November 6, 2026
These terms cover the United Shield app and this website. United Shield is an early software service. No separate legal entity is named here because one is not stated in the product documentation.
The service
United Shield helps you reduce unwanted communications on the channels it supports: iOS call identification and personal blocking, iOS message filtering, Android personal-call blocking, reputation search, manual web link checks, manual WhatsApp checks, and Gmail protection and Recovery Vault when you connect Gmail.
Your account
You are responsible for the email address and password you use, and for activity from your signed-in account. Do not share the account.
Reputation and reports
Reputation information may be incomplete or incorrect. A community report is an informational signal from a signed-in user. It is not proof that a number, address, or link is unlawful, and it is not a guarantee that United Shield will block it. Do not submit reports to harass someone, to hide a legitimate sender, or to manipulate reputation.
No guarantee of detection
United Shield does not guarantee that every unwanted call, text, email, or message will be detected or stopped. Phone and messaging platforms limit what an app can see. Android SMS filtering is not offered. WhatsApp is manual only. Web link checking does not intercept browsing. The protection count does not include every call or text the operating system handled.
Gmail
Gmail actions happen only after you authorize them. Moving mail to Trash and restoring it depend on Gmail. Recovery Vault can show a message only while Gmail still makes that trashed message available. Restoring a message does not unblock the sender.
WhatsApp checking uses a sender or link you enter. United Shield does not read chats and does not block or report inside WhatsApp for you.
Third-party services
Accounts and stored app data use Supabase. Gmail features use Google APIs. Those services have their own terms. United Shield is not operated by Apple, Google, or WhatsApp.
Suspension
United Shield may suspend or end access when an account is used to abuse reporting or reputation, to interfere with the service, or when required to protect other people or the service.
Limits of responsibility
The service is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, United Shield is not liable for missed unwanted communications, incorrect reputation, mail Gmail no longer has in Trash, or decisions you make from a search or report. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, and those limits apply only as far as they are allowed.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the support page once a support contact is published. Account deletion is available in the app.
